Crealies Boxes to Explode Or Not?! with video

 

I am Karen Hasheck of Karen’s Kreative Kards and I love dies with many options and Crealies new explosion box dies can be made to explode or not! I was not a big fan of making explosion boxes where I needed 12 x 12 papers and had to do a bunch of cutting and scoring.  These Create A Box dies in three sizes do all the work and smaller 6 x 6 or scraps can be used! Here is the first explosion box I made, and look at what happens when it is opened!

Sometimes we need a box for gifts and don’t want the sides to explode open, and these new Create a Box dies make easy beautiful boxes. I thought it would be fun to make the recipient of this surprise to open and then open more boxes so I use used the mini, regular and large sets to make this gift. My grandson is going to love this one!

 

The project I made step by step in the video is a partial explosion box with a Christmas scene in it. Here are pictures of the box before and after opening:

You will want to watch the video to see the different boxes some of which explode and some that don’t. You get to decide to explode or not with these new Create A Box dies from Crealies! I had great fun designing these projects and I hope they encourage you to give some of the ideas and products a try!
