Crealies - Rainbow Dragonfly Birthday Card

  

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share this fun Rainbow coloured Birthday card using Crealies big Dragonfly dies. I really love how this rainbow background turned out.
I hope you like it too :)

Over to my card..

To make this card, I took A2 (American!) size White card stock and created this fun rainbow coloured Block background using my Ink Pads which I directly applied on the card base.

Meanwhile, I die cut out these Dragonflies on White Card stock using Partzz dies and adhered to the rainbow background.

Then, I added the die cut out "Happy Birthday" sentiment using Crealies Text dies. Finally, I glued  these Silver gemstones to the dragonflies to complete this fun Birthday card.

Crealies Rectangle Open Scalloped Dies Many Different Ways with video

                           
                            

I am Karen Hasheck of Karen’s Kreative Kards and I love to find ways to use my Crealies dies in different ways to stretch my crafty budget. In my newest video, I am featuring the new Crea-Nest-Lies Big Open Scallops Rectangles XXL dies on 4 cards in 4 different ways.

 One fun technique you can do with scalloped die is Spirelli which is a Dutch string art technique. I made this happy birthday card with copper thread and blue and copper mirror card.
 

 Another fun way to use scalloped dies is to cut them out of two different colors and layer them as I have done on this card that I show how to make in the new video. After raising each layer of scalloped mirror card, I added a purple and gold swallowtail butterfly to the top.

 I had great fun designing these cards and hope you will watch the new video and try different ways to use your Crealies dies.

Crealies Mixed Media Giftbag

Hallo,

Vandaag wil ik jullie graag inspireren met een mixed media project.

Ik gebruikte hiervoor een papieren tasje.

Ik zette eerst wat witte gesso op, droogde het en ging toen met de oxide inkten spelen voor een gekleurde achtergrond. Om de inkt te laten lopen gebruikte ik een spuitflesje met water.

Gedroogd en met stencilpasta en de stencil met rondjes opgezet.

Hier en daar de leuke tekststempel gestempeld.

Op het watercolor papier heb ik ook gespeeld met de distress oxide inkt. Met het stencil met de zeshoekjes en een zwarte fineliner tekende ik hier en daar de zeshoekjes op het papier. Tevens liet ik de fineliner de vrije loop en doodlede over het papier.

Met de Cardzz stans stanste ik de honingraatjes.

Crealies, Pop Up

 

Today we have Sonia as our guest designer.
She made this beautiful card for Crealies.

Hi Crafters, Dr Sonia here and  thrilled to share a project using the amazing Crealies On the MOVE.

Pop up cards are always fun to make and gift but rather time consuming if you are hand-cutting them

It was so easy to make this card using Crealies On the MOVE dies.

Layering was super quick as there were several dies in the set  to get the perfect cut for the pop ups. This design is perfect to build a scene like a garden.

I love the perfectly symmetrical arrangement of pop ups in this die design

You can use the outer dies of this Crealies set to perfectly layer your base card too,
which is always challenging if you are hand cutting a pop up design.

I used the negative of the die cut to decorate the outside of the card/scrapbook page

Love the new Crealies flower and foliage dies with etched designs....
They give such a beautiful 3 dimensional look to your projects.
