My name is Karen Hasheck and I live in north central Wisconsin in the United States. I discovered stamping and card making in the spring of 1999 and have been totally addicted to this awesome hobby ever since. Hello fellow Crealies fans! I am Karen Hasheck from Karen's Kreative Kards and I am so happy to be sharing my first video and cards as a part of the Crealies Design Team! 

The August release at Crealies is full of many unique dies and gorgeous butterflies, but the die set that intrigued me the most was the set called A Lot of Pillar Cards. For the new video, I created single, triple, double column, surprise pop up, square and easel pillar cards.  This pink triple pillar birthday card with the Varia Swallowtail butterfly is one of my favorites. To see how easy it is to use the A Lot of Pillar Cards die set to make a triple pillar card, be sure to watch the video. Here is another view of this triple pillar card:

Another fun idea to try with the A Lot of Pillars die set is to make an easel card like this one with the large Swallowtail Butterfly die: 

I did a partial die cut of the large Swallowtail butterfly to create the easel which is held up by two pillars and decorated with more butterflies from the Set of Three Butterflies no. 44. Of course all the dies used in these cards are linked below. You can see many more cards made with these dies from the August release in the new video out today. I hope all my cards encourage you to give these ideas and products a try.

Crealies : Create a box 21

Goedemorgen,

Deze maand zijn er weer prachtige doosjes stansen van de lijn Create a Box uitgekomen.

Vandaag laat ik jullie mijn elegante verpakking zien voor een kerstkadootje.

In niet traditionele kerstkleurtjes namelijk in het oud roze, zwart, wit en zilver .

Op de bovenkant heb ik het doosje gesloten met linten die ik door de Varia ster heb gehaald. 

In mijn korte video kan je zien hoe ik dat heb gedaan.

Maar ook de binnenkant is versierd, wow wat zijn de nieuwe Texto Negativo gaaf!

Het handigste is om achter het papier een 'Maak van je stans een sticker' te doen,

door de stansmachine en dan is de tekst meteen plakkend en makkelijk te plaatsen.

Crealies - Happy Holidays Snowflakes Card

Hello Everyone,

I'm stopping by to share this snowflakes Holiday card using Crealies latest release. Over to my card..

To make this card, I took these beautiful snowflakes dies and die cut out lots of snowflakes on the shades of blue card stock as well as on mirror card stock.

Then, I took 4 by 6 inches card base and adhered these snowflakes randomly over the top 3/4 of the card panel. I also adhered some of the stars which was the negative part of the die cut out.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment on White paper strip and adhered it on the card panel to complete this beautiful Christmas Card.

Goedemorgen,

Graag laat ik mijn pop up platform card zien die ik heb gemaakt met de nieuwe Cardzz no. 307.

In deze stansset heb je alles wat je nodig hebt (inclusief alle laagjes )

om deze super grappige kaartvorm te maken.

Met leuk ruitjes papier en  lichtgrijs en lichtblauw en groen effen papier 

heb ik een kerstversie gemaakt.

In de instructie video kan je zien hoe deze kaartvorm kan worden gemaakt.

Deze kaart kan plat gevouwen worden en past in een standaard envelop, dus makkelijk op te sturen . 

Ik heb een rijtje (kerst)boompjes ( met een beetje gesso om sneeuw na te bootsen ) geplakt

 en de gave nieuwe Texto Negativo stansen gebruikt.

Ik heb ook een 'maak van je stansvorm een sticker' vel gebruikt 

zodat je niet hoeft te stuntelen met lijm maar meteen een mooi plaklaagje hebt.

Eerst heb ik de "prettige" laag passend op het lipje geplakt

 en daarna "feestdagen" iets hoger op het tweede lipje geplakt.

Crealies: Butterfly discobal romantic giftbox

                                                                          Goedemorgen,

Vandaag heb ik een romantische kadoverpakking met de nieuwe Create a Box no. 20,
de Varia no. 04 vlinder en nieuwe For Journalzz & Plannerzz Icons no. 613 .

Deze Create a Box vind ik super qua vorm en is ook nog makkelijk te maken en heeft veel ruimte. Er is trouwens ook een kleinere versie. 

Met al die vakjes kan je hem ook nog op verschillende manieren neerzetten

 of je kunt hem ophangen met een koordje.

In deze video kan je zien hoe je deze doosjes kan maken

De Varia vlinder heb ik in meerdere laagjes gestanst. Het lijfje heb ik een aantal maal uit grijs karton gestanst met 'Maak van je stansvorm een sticker' aan de achterkant van het papier.

 De vleugels heb ik uit wit mixed media  papier gestanst en later met Pigment Colorzz bewerkt. 

De vleugels eronder heb ik uit vellum en twee kleuren papier gestanst. 

Een klein strassteentje op het hoofdje.

Aan een bijpassende kleur katoenen draadje heb ik ook nog hartjes icons geplakt.

Lekker romantisch toch? Twee harten en een prachtige vlinder.

Hier zie je het doosje open, zoals je kunt zien past er aardig wat in.

Leuke doosjes voor allerlei gelegenheden: verjaardagen, 

plechtigheden (trouw / geboorte / doop / communie e.d.) 

 en zal zeker ook niet misstaan in de kerstboom!
