| Notepad Holder |
Hi Crealies fans...Dr Sonia here and I have one more project showing you how versatile and useful the new Crealies Cups and Accessories Cardzz dies are.
I made DIY Notepad holders for all the coffee and chocolate lovers!
The coffee cups have shaker caps and the flaps close by means of magnets hidden within. I used 4 of the Crealies stamps coffee themed stamps to create the coffee bean and coffee stain circle patterns using gold embossing and coffee archival ink
It is a fun way to create coffee themed paper!

This is a fun project to gift and I think you can even sell it at craft fairs
as it is so cute as well as functional.
It is quite easy to make and I will show you the steps with measurements.
Die cut 2 cups out of cardstock .Take a strip of card stock measuring 2 and 3/4 inch x 1 and 1/2 inches and score it lengthwise at 1/2 and 1 inches from one end. Connect the top of the 2 cups using this strip of card leaving a spine of 1/2 inch.
Stick a magnet near the edge of the inside of the upper flap. Stick a pattern paper cup shape over it so that the magnet is hidden and secured firmly.
Take a strip of cardstock 6 and 1/2 x 1 and 1/2 inches and score at 1/2 and 1 inches
Turn and score 2 and 1/4 inch from either end ...ie at 2 and 1/4 and 4 and 1/4 marks
Make 4 cuts on the scorelines to reach till the central 2 lines as shown
Fold all the scorelines
You can now fold it on the places you cut and shape it into a pocket as shown below.
Stick this on the lower part of the inside of the cup on it's back flap
On the inside of the upper flap...where your magnet is covered by pattern paper...let another magnet touch it. Put a small glue drop on this and close the flap
When you close the flap ..the magnet will automatically stick to the correct place on the pocket you had created. Press firmly and gently open.
Press the magnet to stick it firmly
Stick the cover shape [ lower part of the cup shape with a height of 2 and 1/4 inch] to complete your pocket for the notepad.
Complete your Notepad holder by lining with pattern paper and decorating.
Attach the shaker dome and complete decorating. The notepad holder is large enough to hold a pen or pencil!
