Crealies Blogestafette Dag 6 / Blogrelay Day 6

Day 6 of the blog relay. Yesterday we were able to admire 
the beautiful creation of Wilma, today it is my turn.

Hope you are enjoying the  design team inspiration with the  gorgeous new products from Crealies  .... which are a feast for mixed media lovers.

I don't create mixed media on a regular basis but the new products were too tempting
and I hope you like my mixed media Puzzle made with the new MDF Puzzle from Crealies.  

It is a very large puzzle and has lots of room to express your creativity!

I painted the  Puzzle with a coat of gesso and decoupaged elements
from a paper napkin onto it.

Applied a brick/stone stencil design using texture paste and stamped a chicken wire design in the  gaps of my design.

I went with a nature theme and made flowers to match the design on the paper using circles!

There are cute little birds peeping from behind the flowers!

And of course I had to add my favourite sentiment die from Crealies "Smile" on a banner. I used the  Crealies  sticker sheets to die cut the smile...the sticker sheets are so useful to diecut and stick delicate diecuts such as the text dies.

I added the new Crealies gear dies here and they're both inside the design and on the back of the  puzzle.

Added tiny pearls at various places for a lovely texture.

The cheerful bow from Crealies  is never out of place!!

Stringed some tassels on a leafy ribbon to finish of the Puzzle

The whole piece can hang using a metal and satin handle.

Hoi, hoi, lieve blogdinnen,

Dag 5 van de blogestafette.

Gisteren hebben we de mooie creaties van Patty

mogen bewonderen, vandaag ben ik aan de beurt.

De buitenkant van dit felicitatiekaartje is niet

zo spectaculair. De binnenkant ziet er beter

uit.....al zeg ik dat zelf! Waar of niet waar?

Met de Vaandels op z'n kant, de nieuwe Partzz no. 41 en
Set of 3 no. 59 heb ik een felicitatie-kaartje gemaakt.

Hier op de rechter-binnenkant heb ik gewerkt met

Glitter Paste Gold no. 32 en Stencilzz no. 208.

De vaandels heb ik met gouddraad aan elkaar bevestigd.

En op de linker-binnenkant heb ik gewerkt met

Glitter Paste Gold no. 32 en Stencilzz no. 207.

De klok van Mix & Match no. 02 past perfect

bij het stempeltje "time to relax".

mooi te zien. De pasta ligt heel mooi boven op het papier.

Hello It's Patty

Day 4 of the blog relay. Yesterday we were able to admire the 

beautiful creation of Jolanda today it is my turn.

I can't even tell you how excited I am for this new release. When I found out we were getting steampunk dies I was so excited and to find out also Crealies will be stocking MDF shapes was even more exciting.  Today I got to play with two of the new MDF shapes CLMDF05  and CLMDF06:  the hats.

They were so much fun to make and I wanted to give them an industrial background look and using Crea-Nest-Lies no:96  I was able to cut out the square shapes to get this effect. 

Using the new dies Set of 3 no:59  and Partzz no:41  I cut out my gears and added them to my hats.

I think this new clock die Mix & Match no:02  just might move up to one of my favorites,

this was so much fun to make and fits perfect on my MDF hats. 

The key holes from Mix & Match no:01 fit perfect on my hat bands that I made with 

Crea-Nest-Lies XXL no:48  

I used a few of the dies from Cardzz no:24  to create the lace holes going up my hat.

Crealies Blogestafette Dag 3 / Blogrelay Day 3.

Hallo Allemaal

Dag xx van de blogestafette. Gisteren hebben we de mooie creatie 

van Deepti mogen bewonderen, vandaag ben ik aan de beurt.

Voor deze blogpost heb ik een MDF label gebruikt (nieuw in de Crealies collectie) en

een creatie gemaakt om dierbare of mooie memorabilia te bewaren.

Ik heb het label eerst behandeld met Crealies gesso.

En daarna een pagina uit een oud kasboek op het label geplakt en goed aangewreven.

Het overstekende papier met een mesje weggesneden.

Daarna de randen van het papier met een schuurpapiertje wat opgeschuurd.

Met wat distress oxide inkt de randen van het papier wat verouderd.

De nieuwe klokjesstempel (Bits & Pieces) gestempeld.

 

Ik heb 3 pockets gesneden.

2 van de middelste maat en 1 van de kleinste.

En zelf nog een diagonale pocket gesneden.

Met een cirkel een greepje uit het papier gesneden.

Eerst een middelste pocket ongeveer halverwege opgeplakt.

Daarna de zelfgemaakte, dan de kleinste en als laatste weer een middelste half over de kleinste heen.

Daar heb ik eerst nog een eyeletje ingezet, en daar een bedeltje ingehangen.

De wijzers van het klokje heb ik met een brad vast gezet.

Daar nog een tekstje overheen, en dan kunnen de tickets, foto,s e.d. erin.

Ik hoop dat jullie mijn nieuwe creatie leuk vinden.
